I admit this and I really only know one other person for whom this is true:
Sometimes, I run out of things to look up on the Internet.

When that happens, I look at apartment listings in Brooklyn and then other cities.
All I know is, if I were still living in Minneapolis, I'd at least have laundry in my building.
And that I'd probably have my own building.
But, my God. It's cold there.

when you feel like you hit the end of the internet, there's something called Stumbleupon. it's an addon for firefox and you click the stumble button and it takes you to a random website that other people have flagged as interesting in some way. i do that at work once i go through all of my usual sites and get bored. you can even narrow it down by topics to only go to certain types of sites:
